PAIN RELIEF
In many conditions we see at Move Better, pain needs to be treated first to get it under control so that we can progress with the healing process. Our Pain Relief program is designed to do just that. In addition to the prescription or over-the-counter pain relievers that you may already be taking, your therapist has a number of treatment options to treat the pain fast.
The most valuable tools we have at our disposal are skilled hands-on therapies such as gentle joint or soft tissue mobilization and range of motion exercises (carefully selected and taught). Other options to consider are heat and cold (which you will be instructed to use at home), traction, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation. It all depends on your condition. Our therapist will select the proper approaches customized for your condition to get you out of pain and moving again.
