Erica earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Promotion from American University in 2015 where she played field hockey for the Eagles.

She went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Old Dominion University in 2018. In Fall 2019 she attended the Virginia Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy Institutes 6 weekend course series. She received her Board Certification as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) from the American Physical Therapy Association in 2021.

Erica grew up in Northern Virginia and moved to Charlottesville in 2018. She enjoys horseback riding, gymnastics, mountain biking, hiking and spending time with her husband Nate who is also a physical therapist at Move Better. Together, they enjoy exploring our community with their newborn daughter Sophie Mae.
