Rodney Madagan, DPT, OCS just attended a great weekend course here in Charlottesville, VA hosted by VOMPTI up at UVA. The course “Biopsychosocial Approach to Spinal Stability” was taught by Rusty Smith, Jr. PT, EdD.,OCS, FAAOMPT who serves as the Director of the Doctoral Physical Therapy Program at Lynchburg College. The course explored the physical therapy management of patients with spinal pain within a biopsychosocial approach. Clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice was emphasized in a lecture and lab format. It was a great weekend of learning that Rodney is eager to share with his colleagues at Move Better Physical Therapy of Charlottesville, Virginia.
