Reid earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Virginia in 2015. He continued onto the Medical College of Virginia at VCU, where he received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018. In 2017, he completed training to receive certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Additionally, he is a certified administrator of the Functional Movement Screen. Outside of the clinic, Reid likes to spend time with his girlfriend, Kalene, and take in all that the Charlottesville area has to offer. He enjoys staying active by participating in Olympic weightlifting and playing basketball.
Reid’s approach is to apply manual therapy and evidence-based exercise prescription to help patients resolve:
chronic and acute spinal pain, shoulder impingement and rotator cuff injuries, sports injuries of the lower extremity, balance training, and post-surgical care of the shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle.
At Move Better, quality and consistency of care are the cornerstones of our practice. You can expect Reid to provide hands-on, thoughtful care to your patients for great results.
