Rodney Madagan, DPT, OCS

Rodney’s approach is to apply manual therapy and evidence-based exercise prescription to help his patients. He grew up in Northern Virginia and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Mary Washington College, and both his Master of Physical Therapy degree in 1999 and his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2006 from Shenandoah University.

He received his Board Certification as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) from the American Physical Therapy Association in 2008 with recertification achieved in 2019.

Rodney regularly stays active with coaching SOCA travel soccer, local running events, mountain biking, and road cycling. He and his wife, local pediatrician Heidi Martinson, M.D. live in Albemarle County with their young sons Ryan, Ethan, and Logan. They attend St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Ivy, Virginia.
